A Gentle Start to Learning

Farranree offers a warm, reassuring introduction to early learning. In this small, intimate setting, every child and family is known, so children can settle in comfortably and take their first steps in group learning with confidence.

Purpose Built for Everyday Exploration

The setting is designed to support learning, play and independence. The downstairs room opens directly onto a protected courtyard, giving children safe, easy access to the outdoors and the chance to explore both inside and outside each day.

Strong Relationships, Strong Foundations

Relationships are at the heart of Faranree. Because the setting is small, our team builds strong connections quickly with children and families, creating a sense of belonging that supports confidence, communication and emotional security.

Connected with Families

We know parents are their child’s first educators. We keep communications open and regular through the Child Path App, and each child’s key worker builds a clear picture of their progress, shared with you throughout the year.

Emma Cotter - Supervisor

"The best kind of learning often looks like a lot like playing. For children Play is serious learning. It’s the work of Childhood" (Fred Rogers)

Hi! My name is Emma Cotter, and I have been working in Early Childhood Education for over 16 years. I began my career as a childcare assistant, supporting teachers and children in the setting, before completing my QQI Level 6 and progressing to Room Leader in an ECCE setting.

I loved creating a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children could learn and develop through play. After five years as Room Leader, I progressed to School Supervisor in 2021, where I work closely with children, parents and staff to support the highest standards of care and learning.

Dance and drama have been a huge part of my life since childhood, and I love bringing my passion and experience into the classroom and incorporating them into our curriculum.
Working in childcare is a true passion of mine, and I find it incredibly rewarding to support and watch children grow and develop.
