Our Outdoor Education Environment is where we feel the true treasure lies! Children have daily access, through free flow play, to an amazing array of different environments. In the Outdoor Education Environment, the children get to test their skills and experience life in the wilderness, something which is not always possible in a city crèche.

Our Outdoor Education Initiative involves using the outdoors to promote health and wellbeing, as well as to challenge the children’s mind set and ability by presenting play that has an educated element of risk, it provides the perfect setting to allow children to build a positive mind set while also learning to respect the natural environment. As facilitators, we demonstrate, scaffold and help the children to safely use equipment from the surrounding environment. Through this outdoor space, children are given a sense of responsibility and are allowed the space and time to make their own choices in their environment. The Outdoor Education Environment includes a mud kitchen, a large grass area, and a willow archway where the children can create a den and three acres of parkland with trees.
